In Honor of Another

(originally written in 2014)

He is not my lover, but he is a friend…
… He moves like layers of the ocean …
silent power unseen but felt consistently
… his environment thrives because of his design,
his order, his constant connection
… he never asks or needs vindication …
witnessing the beauty born from his great work is enough
… he is love and power personified …
he is another friend worthy of this poetry
#InHonorOfAnother … Appreciate the beauty of those in your life while they still live. We say it when we lose someone, but how often do we put it into practice and then share that love with others? I challenge you to do a grand gesture for a friend today
