A Billion and One

movie (1)

Life is a stage play,

no take ones, twos, or threes…

just one continuous performance before a live audience…

A billion and one stories unfolding as we speak…

some one is holding hands

while another is screaming into the night…

tears replaced by smiles to come tomorrow…

sunrises, sunsets

and still the stories are unending…

She dances,

he sings,

somebody just lost a wedding ring…

one ending, one beginning…

I see familiarity inside of their embrace…

reminds me of when I am resting in my favorite place…

3 months, one year, in a moment…?

how long does it take to recognize your reflection in another?

No one knows the answer…

2 days, 2 years, or more…?

how long does it take to realize you’re needing more

than what you’re getting from your lover?

No one knows…

So a billion and one love stories being told

as we live and speak…

some one somewhere is holding a hand…

while another is leaving…

But don’t waste time on a story that’s turned to tragedy…

cause the new story,

the best story of your life..

can’t begin until the  curtain closes on act 1…

the director is you…

and this will move on when you get ready for act two

A billion and one love stories…

Here’s to the lovers…

old and new…

the great loves and the ones

… waiting…
